Irish Castle Wedding

I've been trying out new ideas in my backgrounds taken from traditional landscape painting. Things like creating depth with foreground shadows and overhanging tree branches, and exaggerating the effect of warm sunlight. I'm glad they liked the results!

I'll be trying out these ideas with some traditionally painted canvases...Watch this space...
